In accordance with the provisions of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, Educate Global Limited (“the Firm”) is taking measures to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of its own business or in its investee companies and their related supply chains.
The Firm’s own business operates a small team (less than ten staff) from offices in London and Nairobi. We are confident that none of our employees are working in conditions of slavery, and that none are victims of human trafficking.
Educate Global Limited invests in portfolio companies with complex supply chains. The Firm has seen no evidence of any of its portfolio businesses or their suppliers engaging in practices amounting to either slavery or human trafficking. Nonetheless, the Firm is committed to conducting periodic reviews of its investees and their suppliers as part of its Environmental, Social and Governance monitoring. This will help to identify those businesses where, due to the nature of the work undertaken or the geography in which it was carried out, there is a possibility of slavery or human trafficking.
